A top to bottom custom restoration on a 26-foot 1977 GMC classic motorhome!
We always say that we specialize in 'anything on wheels,' and this customer's all original 1977 GMC fit that bill. Before the full interior and exterior conversion began, the vehicle was treated to a complete restoration underneath - the engine, drive-train, and all the mechanicals were updated and upgraded. Once the chassis was made pretty and new, CMI stripped the vehicle down to it's bones and began building it back up. New additions included; HVAC, 7KW generator, plumbing, electrical systems, dash, and of course, a completely custom interior build out with all of the luxuries. Despite only having one interior TV, this vehicle is as high-tech as you can get. There's a smart lock/thermostat/detector system, and the music, TV/satellite, lighting, HVAC, and generator are all controlled through a dedicated/integrated iPad. To up the ante, CMI built in heated floors, a full washer/dryer, amazing material finishes, one of a kind craftsman details (like the wine bar), and even a bathtub! The exterior wasn't left out during all of this - it also received a slew of custom additions including; front/rear fairings grafted into new Girard awnings, a Chevy Silverado front fascia, Cadillac rear fascia, and an incredible paint job featuring crackle-finish striping. This is the newest, and nicest, old vehicle you'll ever find!
