Mobile Vision Lab built by CMI bring eyecare and eyewear to people in need.

Mobile Vision Lab

This 40-foot vision care mobile clinic, VSP Mobile Eyes, came about when VSP was providing services to victims of hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Now a permanent part of their community outreach, the Forest River commercial RV brings eyecare and eyewear to people in need.

The brightly adorned coach will also aid in promoting the importance of regular eyecare.

The coach features two exam rooms and a dispensary, which will be used for providing exams and materials during outreach efforts

A small break room in the rear of the mobile eyecare unit includes a microwave and coffee maker. The coach also features a restroom with shower and is handicap accessible.

The frames display area provides a place for the patients to try on the many types of frames available. The comprehensive exam room has all the equipment that you would see at any of VSP network doctors throughout the country.
