A large insurance company joined forces with CMI to customize
its catastrophe response team vehicles and trailers. Two
Sunnybrook Titans, one in oak wood and one cherry, were
renovated to receive and process claims in disaster struck areas.
The vehicles are equipped with generators and satellite systems
to allow the units to operate in dismal conditions.
Existing
propane generators were removed and replaced with gas
generators. This was done because gas is easier to obtain in times of
disaster.
The original interior was either removed or
renovated and converted into work stations.
Flip down counters and CAT5 wiring ports were built in for
claim processing.
All carpet was
removed and replaced with rubber flooring to stand up against
poor weather conditions.
Cove cabinets with fluorescent lighting were installed above the
desk areas where servers are housed for the individual workstations.
