This high-tech
mobile marketing Sprinter was designed and built for a software
development company. This unique form of advertising will
be touring high-tech facilities around the country to display
their products and services. Some of these facilities
include research labs and military bases. The vehicle will
be used for hands-on demos based in the areas of space travel and
security.
The exterior
of this vehicle is fully wrapped in graphics befitting the
company and their products. The main cabin area maintains
a similar feel with a custom-built command center that acts as
the focal point of the interior. The cabin has a distinctively
sleek look thanks to a unique blue stripe on the floor that
flows up the seat and onto desk. The racing seat is a
specialized Recaro product mounted on a swivel/slide base.
A
large 40” LED TV is mounted on the back wall above the custom
built desk. Two 22” monitors sit on the desk along with hook ups
for two laptops. Visitors can sit in the racecar seat and
experience the software in a command center setting.
The driver’s area has two high
end leather captains chairs mounted on six way power bases. The
factory stereo was removed and replaced with an Alpine double
DIN unit with DVD and Navigation, and a back up camera
monitoring system.
Other multimedia attractions include a 55” LED mounted just
behind the driver’s seat. This monitor is positioned to be
visible to passerby’s from the outside. The expansive floor
space in the main cabins area gives ample room for three
kiosks to be stored. These kiosks are setup outside of the
Sprinter to showcase various products.
The rear features a custom
storage area, where accessories and luggage are stored. Some
other amenities include a security system, tinted windows,
running boards and Alcoa rims. The driver’s area seating was
upgraded to luxury captain seats with armrests and the factory
stereo was replaced with a Pioneer multimedia system (with
CD/IPOD/GPS and Back up camera). To top it all off there are
upgraded speakers and a WiFi system.
