4 x 4 Mercedes Sprinter - Exploration & Adventure Vehicle
CMI transformed this 170'' Extended Cargo Sprinter into an explorer's fantasy. With a total of four skylights, this van is perfect for a star-gazing getaway.
We installed a quality rhino-like luxury vinyl flooring for an industrial look and added durability. There's even a track system installed in the rear floor area to secure our customer's mountain bikes with ease. The rear area has custom-made bench seating which fold into the wall to save space and custom storage located above. We also installed custom laminated cabinetry with storage and a self-draining ice chest. The driver's area radio was upgraded with a new head unit and custom speakers throughout, and 110V convenience outlets were also installed.
Out in the wilderness and need to wash off? No problem! CMI ran plumbing and installed a transom style shower which extends from the rear cargo area. Taking advantage of natural renewable energy, a 2 x 2 roof-mounted solar panel delivers heat to the ten gallon fresh water tank on board. A full auxiliary battery system was installed: to include a shore line connection, inverter, and charging system. We also installed a total of eight windows with day/night shades, and an exterior awning.
