Monaco Diplomat Retrofit (Early 2000's)
The Monaco Diplomat coaches, especially earlier models such as this one, are highly sought after motorhomes. They are often brought to our facility by owners with a desire to change or upgrade certain features. With this RV, our customer wanted to upgrade the driver's area tube TV to a 40'' LED TV. Our expert craftsmen did this by completing a total rebuild of the front header and by matching the woodwork and vinyl to make the job look factory. We relocated the television to the center instead of directly above the driver, and also fabricated and installed a privacy curtain to hang around the front windshield. We also completed a major ceiling retrofit throughout the bus by installing custom ceiling accent panels which replaced cracked plexiglass. Along with upgrading accent lighting throughout, we also removed a washer/dryer unit and built a custom closet with adjustable shelving. The bedroom received new ceiling panels as well as an LED TV upgrade and a new custom storage spot was created.
