Semi Cab Retrofit - CDL Training
This Freightliner Cascadia is one of three identical semi tractor retrofits completed for a school with a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) degree program. These semi trucks arrived at Creative Mobile Interiors as double sleepers, but we removed the factory rear lower bed platform and replaced it with a custom forward-facing sofa (bench seat). We removed the exisiting cabinetry behind the driver and passenger seats to make more room in the cab, and also built new enclosures for the driver's side floor heater and cab controls.
Improving functionality tends to be the main goal for most of our retrofits. These semi trucks are a great example of how a small change at CMI can make your existing vehicle more practical for your needs.
