Mobile Catastrophe Unit

Creative Mobile Interiors recently delivered a mobile catastrophe unit to a leading insurance company. The vehicle is designed to travel to disaster struck areas and process claims right on site. There are four computer areas located in the front slide out area for processing claims.

The command center, a 44’ Newmar 4470, includes an In-motion satellite attached to the rear of the vehicle and two remote controlled wind sensor awnings along with an outdoor accessible ATM machine for customers

The outside of the vehicle also features an exterior LCD monitor with a built-in HDTV tuner for streaming incoming news feeds. The exterior 50-inch LCD monitor and ATM both have a custom weather proof closure door that locks and securely covers the monitor.

Located just forward of the rear entrance area is a small galley area and the main A/V system.

Network connected computer stations process claims in a timely fashion. Each custom fabricated station has its own custom desk counter; a laptop computer with electrical hook-ups; and an office chair.

The center of the vehicle has a front entrance style, wheel chair accessible lavatory, and directly across from the lavatory is a storage area. The rear meeting area includes another removable laminated table with four chairs and two computer station areas.

The front area also includes a removable laminated meeting desk and four swivel desk chairs where claimants can meet with field representatives.
