Mobile Optical Lab (Retrofit)

 

CMI modified this already converted 40' Freightliner RV to better suit a nonprofit organization focusing on bringing eye care to people all over the world. This optical lab on wheels, dubbed "Eyeleen", has everything needed for eye exams and optometrists are able to create a new pair of glasses in just twenty minutes.

 

Main retrofit features:

  • New sub-floor and flooring throughout exam rooms and waiting room (carpet and luxury vinyl flooring)
  • Misc. repairs and replacement of woodwork, finished to match existing interior
  • Replaced fabrics on exterior awnings
  • Custom-built cabinetry with locks and adjustable shelves
  • New bench seat in waiting area
